Ve hře Zaklínač, Interakce s postavami happens primarily through dialogue. One could, of course argue that swordplay is also character interaction, but for the purposes of this article, we'll limit the discussion to peaceful, at least initally, interactions. Below is a list, with icons, of the kinds of character interaction that can be intiatiated through speaking with game characters, or NPCs. This is how Geralt interacts with the various game characters he meets along his path.
Levým klinutím na jednoho z nepřátel zaútočíš.
Pod postavami nepřátel se zobrazuje červený ukazatel života. Pokud chceš na protivníka zaútočit, klikni na něj levým tlačítkem myši. Postavy se zeleným ukazatelem jsou Geraltovi přátelsky nakloněny a napadnout je nelze.

Pití[]
Můžeš se zúčastnit různých soutěží v pití a získat tak informace a odměny. Pokud to chceš provést, vyber si během konverzace kliknutím na ikonu "pití" druh nápoje.
Tip: Často se ti stane, že tvůj soupeř bude mít v oblibě určitý druh pití a odmítne pít cokoli jiného. Musíš vypít víc než tvůj protivník, ale dej si pozor, ať se neopiješ.
Pay[]
This icon is used to pay a sum of money in a legal exchange, as opposed to a bribery situation. Typically this is for a service. The Ferryman wants five orens to cross to or from the swamp. This is the icon that is used to effect that transaction.
Pečetní prsteny[]
Přetažením pečetního prstenu do pozice na symbolu postavy aktivuješ dialogovou akci pečetního prstenu. Při rozhovoru jej ukážeš kliknutím na ikonu "pečetního prstenu".
Tip: Pokud postava prsten akceptuje, bude k tobě příznivěji nakloněna. Výběr nevhodného prstenu ji však může naopak urazit.
